HI
I am from Korean Catholic Church in Christchurch (Young Adult Group).
We are going to Arthur's Pass on 8th and 9th for tramping.
But we have no actual experience what so ever.....ummmm...
Could you please recommend some walkways that we can take in Arthur's Pass?!
(we are looking at about 30 people most of them uni students. - beginners)
Thank you!

Hi Adella, Arthurs pass is big country and is one place in New Zealand where trampers regularly get lost or occasionally worse.

A good place to start is having a look at http://www.apinfo.co.nz/ I have done the Upper Waimakariri Valley track and that is easy with no river crossings and it sticks to the valley. I am not sure where you plan on staying if you want to do a overnight track Carrington Hut won't hold 30. Also the walk up to bearly spur is good one, it is harder that the walk to Carrington hut as it is up hill, but the views looking down into the Waimakariri are awesome. No chance getting 30 into the old bealy spur hut though.
