Hey, I'm in New Zealand from Jan 24th-April 17th, 2005. I have variable access to a car through relatives during this time.. I'd rather not hike alone obviously, and I'm pretty open to any trail that someone wants to do. I have no job or any plans for the 3 months I'm there, other than a little sun.

I'd like to do Milton Track late in the season (ie. towards april more) when it isn't as busy. I'd also like to do a hike on Stewart island (not necessarily the 10 day-120 km one, but I'd consider that)

Details: 22 year old male, from Vancouver, Canada. Been to New Zealand before, but only hiked the Abel Tasman oceanside trail.

I'm bringing my rock climbing gear too, if anyone is looking to do that (ie. Takaka - near Nelson - was pretty solid when I was there last time)
