hello! I'm a nurse here in the Philippines. I want to work in new zealand but my IELTS was below 7 for the two categories so I decided to apply as a Health Care Assistant. Is it ok to apply there as HCA? Can Is it true that the school will be the one to provide you a job after the schooling? Please help me 'coz I will spending a lot of money for applying as an HCA.
Thank you.

Why not take the IELTS again and try to get a better score?
Nurses are much more in demand and the pay is much better. |

just retake the IELTS and aim for band 7.0 instead.
are you a second courser? because a lot of second coursers were denied last June by the NCNZ. and IELTS in NZ is somewhat hard , according to some pinoy HCA here in NZ. They are still working as HCA , since they are having a difficult time obtaining a passing mark in IELTS and they are stuck with the current 2nd courser issue of ncnz.... |

good day ann2. Thank you for your repoly last july 21.
That was my second time in taking the IELTS exam but still I was not able to get the passing mark of 7 in all categories. That is why I decided to apply as HCA instead. |
