My girlfriend and I are making our first trip to the South Island of NZ beginning 25 Nov 04 for ~3 weeks. Understanding that the Milford Track is already booked, we are trying to decide on one of the other fabulous epic hikes. What is a "don't miss" hike on the Southern Island? Our fitness level won't be a limiting factor. We are looking for some advice to make this trip unforgettable. Thoughts? david
