Hi!!! I'm Leah from the Philippines and I am interested to work there in New zealand. I would like to inquire about the American Dream Immigration Consultancy, Inc. if they are legally recognized in such business. They conducted an orientation on October 16, 2004 but I was not able to attend.

Thank you if you someone could answer as to the legal existence of the said immigration consultancy.

More power!!!

hi! american dream immigration consultancy is merely a business for aspirant immigrants. They don't give much details on your qualifications. They just want your money.Filipino applicants can and most likely be selected on lodging EOI, american dream just simply stops there because they already gained profits. If I were you, apply directly to NZIS, you can apply online.

I've called this agency before. I was hoping I could get a local consultant that would be cheaper and more accessible.

Sad to say, I was not impressed with the way they've handled my queries. They were not even aware of NZQA.

Hi, Alessandra, I'm not promoting this consultancy but why not try Sampang Consultancy. I acquired his service last Oct 27, 2004, though I'm still awaiting for the ITA, he keeps on updating us. Thanks.

Hello guest, My agency is asking for 2,000 NZD in two equal payments, half upon submission of EOI and the other half after the VISA approval. Hope it helps.

First american dream, is a duly registered company, they have their SEC no. second, I personally know somebody who's family had already received their visa thru them. As for my personal investigation on the company they already had 89 families that have been approved thru them. I talked to some of these people before I started my application with American dream. I had my own private investigation and i was satisfied with what I have found out. The truth is, No Consultancy Agency can gurantee a 100% approval rate. It is "us" the applicant and our "papers" who will be scrutinize by NZQA and by the immigration evaluator not the consultant or the consultancy agency.

Applying online is good but consultancy can make it very easy for us, and they can help us a lot but there is a price for that. So if you are willing to incur additional charges on top of the processing fees of NZ itself, then go and find your consultant.

With regards to the payment, You will be paying $700 (for American Dream ) for their services on Top of NZ processing fee itself, but you will be paying it on a staggered basis. or on a Step by Step payment.

So far I've just finished my application for EOI thru them, just waiting for the result.

Hope this help

Hi Hidz,

My EOI was selected last October 27, 2004. Even in the NZ immigration website they post there that those EOI selected for October 2004 will be reviewed by April of 2005.

Hi Aireen,

2,000 NZD was only for the consultancy fee so on top of that amount will be your EOI fee. They will not accept your application if they believe that there is a big possibility that you will not be approved.

You can attend their seminars. Before they are conducting that for free but now I believe they are asking for 100.00 pesos seminar fee.

I don't know what you mean if your application was denied. But if your EOI was denied then before they guarantee us that you will get your 1,000 NZD back but once your EOI was approved then thats it, no more refund but of course. But if you will not be given a chance to be invited (ITA) because of some reasons???? then you will no longer be able to get you 1,000 NZD because i believe that the first half of 2,000 NZD applies for your EOI submission. But still they will do their best to appeal to immigration why you was denied for ITA (That is why we are paying them that much, when unecessary things like that happened).

Also just to inform you that I'm a graduate of UE Caloocan under the ECE course. UE Caloocan is not under the recognized list of qualifications only UE Manila, but with their help, I no longer pay for my NZQA. Thanks and Gob bless...

musta!
i've hired the services of american dream last 2003. I was able to fiel my papers with them untli i got my nzqa only. after which they are not following up our papers to shich stage we should do next. and besides that, when the new immigration point system was introduced, they kept us in the dark. like our papers have been disregarded for months. so in other words, we got pissed off and terminated our contract with them last 2004.
we continued our application by ourselves, and we been selected in EOI pool.

I'm with american dream right now, and quite satisfy with their services (i just don't know till when).

I started applying last november 15, 2004 for the pre-assessment and got info that it was considered on nov. 24, 2005. But since i got problem with my birth certificate and passport i was only able to complete and submit my EOI with american dreams last march 11. Processing fee in NZ (NZ$375 i think) was credited in my credit card last march 16. then i was informed that my EOI was selected last april 1 from the pool.

So far, it was really great to have quite fast information. Now i dont know when and what is next. they said to wait for 6 to 8 weeks while verification is being done. I heard, verification now is quite moving slow with the rising number of applicants.

You may do your own investigation about american dreams, but so far, they asked reasonable amount as consultancy fee.

Hi there everyone!

I know this forum talks about American Dream and I hope I will not sound like am taking credit to them as an agency...

I am Maricel.
Recently, we have opened NZ IMMIGRATION HELP SERVICE LIMITED. It is a immigration consultancy and settlement services based here in Auckland, New Zealand.

NZ Help is a family helping families achieve their dream of living and settling in this beautiful side of the earth.

As i am aware that everyone is cautious about getting the services of an agency. I invite you guys to send over your CV through email nzimmigrationhelpservice@yahoo.com, then, I would email you assessment, details of our services, and no grey area fee structure/s, so at least you have more options.

You may also call/txt me through +64 21 1817228.

Thanks.God Bless to everyone!
