|
|
Hi to all ! Im new to yhis forum but as browse the topics i found out that its very enlightening. I would like to seek advises to anyone who has succesfully work in nz in relevant to my situation.
Ive recently received a job offer from electrotech company in nz as a process engineer/electrician. I had already sent my docs to ewrb and the assesment result may be this mid april. With this situation, what would I do next? Do i have to file a working visa myself? Im currently working in saudi arabia for 18 months now, would it be okey if i file my visa application while im here? or better to go home to the philippines and file there? Is it possible to file partners visa including my daughter at the same time i file mine? Would it be fine to accompany them with me or better they will follow me after a few monts? lastly, is it easy to pass the electical practicing licence in nz or as difficult as taking electrical license in thr Ph.?
Any advise is very much appreciated.
Thanks
Allan |

your employer will need to fill up the supplementary employment form detailing the job offer, benefits, etc and you also need to send in a copy of the employment contract. you can send your application directly from saudi, just go to the website www.immigration.govt.nz and click on fees finder. it will tell you where to send your application and how much you will pay. your wife will need to file her own work visa (kung mag wowork siya , or visitor if not)if contract given to you is for more than 2 years (and may minimum na salary na dapat na ibabayad sa iyo ha tignan mo sa website)eligible na rin wife mo for a work visa even if she is still in the philippines. you just need to prove you are in a valid partnership at you both intend to be in NZ at the same time. yes you can bring your kids (up to a certain age)they need to fill up a separate visitor visa kung hindi mag wo work wife mo or kasama sa visitor application ng wife mo if visit lang siya.
if you can afford to support everyone all at once, magkitakita na lang kayo sa nz, wag ka na umuwi pinas, pero if you cant afford, ikaw na lang mauna. its totally your choice. |

good news is if you get work visa/permit valid for over 2 years, your wife is eligible for one of her own for the same duration you are in NZ without need for a job offer. she is free to take on any job in nz she can find.
if she applies for a visit visa, she cant work not even for a day but gets to stay in nz for as long as you are working legally in nz |

Thanks for the reply. My employer wrote in the supplementary form that a letter of confirmation lang daw from EWRB provisional license ang kailangan kaya wait ko sa result this coming mid april. If ever positive ang response ay mag lodge ako this May. Application from saudi ay doon sa dubai, pero my plan vacation in the Philippines is this coming June, okey lang ba kung sa atin ako mag lodge ng work visa kasi papauwi na rin ako eh, dito na lang ako kukuha ng medical at ipa send ko na lang sa misis ko ang application. Saan kaya madali ang processing ng work visa, sa dubai or sa pinas? |

lahat mas mura sa pinas. pero yung medical mo you have to submit within 3 months of the date it was released to you. bago ka magpamedical make sure no late nights, no drinking, no smoking, no stress for a week kasi pag mataas ang BP mo o heart rate matatagalan ka. sa pinas for full medical 8000 pesos lang. sa st lukes satellite office sa manila, i forgot the street, basta malapit sa robinson mall sa manila sa likod ng pgh, the website has the exact address. one stop shop dun you can take your whole family with you and get everyone's exam done kung lahat kayo sabay sabay mag lo-lodge ng application. results in 7 days kung walang complications or health problems.
timing is critical kasi ang police clearance mo good for 1 month lang so you need one from all the places you lived in for more than 5 months, one from saudi ang the one from manila. yung sa manila 1 month lang so apply for a police clearance last para sure valid when you submit it and submit it as soon as you get it.
NBI 1 year valid so you can have it done na, no need to certify kasi original of police & nbi ang kailangan nila for work visa.
if you are overseas, just send a letter of request and authorization letter to your wife to get you a police and nbi clearance. kung wala ka lang sa pinas. send at least 3 id pictures with your request for police and siguro 1 for nbi. para sigurado, padala ka ng marami sa asawa mo.
kung mag vacation ka sa pinas na 1month lang, kakapusin ka ng time kung may problem ka healthwise. prepare your lakads for your vacation kasi its all about timing. may mga documents na mag ex-expire like the medical ang the police clearance.
if long term skilled aplyan mo and if dubai ka send, its AED 690.that is just yours wala pa yung mga sa family mo. magkano medical diyan sa saudi? tapos yung sa family mo sa iba nila send not dubai kasi they are in manila. magulo

Ces
Actually wala pa akong result sa assesment nila. Ang sinubmit ko ay CERTIFIED TRUE COPY nga mga docs ko like..
1. TOR
2. Diploma
3. Training certificates(electricity and safety related)
4. Work reference (your previous employer
> needs to provide as
> > precise and detailed a work reference as possible
> with regards to
> > materials worked with, duties carried out, and
> time done doing this
> > work)
5. Copy of passport
6. Any related certificates kasi titingnan lang nila kung pwede ma credit and pinadala mo.
Im waiting for the result this week ..sanay positive yong response nila. I keep updated na lang kung ano mga kulang kasi di ko alam kung ok naba yong napadala ko.
pwede ka mag inquire sa email nila ...info@ewr.govt.nz
pag ok na docs mo i send mo by courier sa adress na to...
