Kids on Milford Track

We would like to do the Milford Track in March with our son (2 1/2 ys) in the carrier. He is quite used to tramping around in it through the German Alps. We are 28 and 30 ys old. We know it is not recommended taking kids onto the Track. Does anyone have experiences with this ? And is it just not recommended because of the distances that must be walked within four days ?

Hi Moa, yeah proberbly a mixture between distances, cold wet conditions and crowded huts full of stinky socks Smile
