Hey - I am coming to new zealand in winter. are trails accessible or will I be prevented from camping. I don't mind crazy waether at all but I don't want to be prevented from hiking all together. tips/suggestions?

Hi mattroose, http://www.backpack-newzealand.com/nz/article350.php do some research on which tracks you would like to know and I will dig up info on them and see if they are OK in winter.
