Hi, We are comming to NZ in april less than 50 days We choose to do the rees dart track in south island in th month of May. I was wondering what are the best ways to reach the track from Glenorchy at that time of the year.??? Also, I noted that the bridge is removed over snowy creek in May and I would like to know how easy or hard is this river crossing at that time of year.??? Thanks mates

Hi mad6max9, there are a few transport operators that can drop you off at the track ( http://www.buckleytransport.co.nz/ http://www.infotrack.co.nz/index.php ). I haven't done the Rees - Dart yet so I can't give my personal experience, but it doesn't look to daunting ( http://images.google.com/images?q=%22snowy+creek%22+rees+OR+dart ) of course if it flooded you would avoid trying to cross it.
